Zaad زاد

Prayer times, Qibla, mosques, Quran and duas, everywhere you go.

Zaad means provisions for the journey. It works out your prayer times on your phone, wherever you are, and keeps the rest of your day’s worship close: the Qibla, mosques nearby, the Quran and your daily duas. No ads, no account and no tracking.

Or see today’s prayer times in your browser.

How it works
A look inside

Quiet by design

Each prayer has its own sky. Gold marks only what matters now. Everything else stays out of your way.

Location stays on your phone

Prayer times and the Qibla are worked out on the device. Mosque lists download for your country, not your position.

Questions

Good to know

Why are my times a little different from my mosque’s?

Mosques use different calculation methods, Asr conventions and safety minutes. Zaad picks the method most used in your country, and you can change the method and Asr, or move any time by a few minutes, in Settings → Location & prayer times. More on this.

Is Zaad really free?

Yes. Everything connected to worship is free, with no ads: prayer times, adhan, Qibla, Quran, duas, tasbih and the barcode scan. Zaad Plus is an optional one-time purchase for extra styles and the ingredients photo mode.

I use Jantri. Do I need a new app?

No. Jantri is now called Zaad. Update the app as usual and your city, settings and alerts stay as they are.

Does the scanner tell me if food is halal?

No. It shows what an ingredients list contains and flags ingredients that are usually animal- or alcohol-derived, or that need checking. It is not a halal certification: always check for a trusted halal logo.
